My love of slightly left of sanity videos continues apace. We nearly had them play once (I’ve got a contract and everything) but alas it was not to be! So here’s that new promo to make us yearn for loves labours lost or something.

Shabazz Palaces have a new video. Premiered by them lovely chaps over at Pitchfork. They were responsible for one of the best shows we had last year.

Guest Top 10 – Gemma K-Tep

Dj ing early on this Tuesday is Gemma K-Tep. She’s not really called that – I think I sort of invented the ‘K-Tep’ part but I’m going to stick with it. Here’s an idea of what she’ll be playing.

Errors – Pleasure Palaces
Speak of Mogwai and their label, Rock Action, appears. Here’s the [mad] new video from [mostly] instrumental Scots legends Errors. Hopefully be seeing plenty of them live in 2012 what with a new album and all.
The inevitable PS: They played for us years and years ago supporting none other than British Sea Power at the White Heat / Rough Trade Records Christmas party at Madame JoJo’s. BSP blew up three out of four monitors. It was a good show.
Sleep Party People – A dark God Heart
I put these guys on at the Lexington last year with help from them nice chaps over at the Line of Best Fit. Amazing band from Denmark & they’re back with a new album (released on Blood and Biscuits. Think Sigur Ros, Mogwai, quiet-loud sorta thing. The video’s AMAZING too.
Hopefully we’ll manage to get them on at White Heat later in the year.
Sylver Tongue
Here’s a new video from a new band we’ve got playing for us at the end of February.
The Liars Live & Interview
Just re-found this Liars interview from when they played for us. Was obviously nice to have the BBC down to do some filming too.
